3-4-2019- The guys of Lagniappe With Love brought a little Mardi Gras to Colonial Oaks Living Center.
January 11, 2019- Starry Night on The River Gala
It was a fabulous night with many silent auction items, some live items- the most popular being a Terrance Osborne reworked giclée of his "Evacuation Plan". The Mixed Nuts band and local comedian James Cusimano kept everyone partying through the night. Best of all we raised money to continue our mission. See red carpet photos here from Waffle Bordelon. 10-27-2018 LWL cohosted a Halloween dance with The Order of Alhambra. There was a costume contest and plenty of dancing.
10-20-2018 LWL hosted a wrestling event with Wildkat Sports at Magnolia Community Services for the clients. Families from Miracle League also enjoyed the show. Many wore Halloween costumes and there was a costume contest.
10-4-2018 LWL helped The Order of Alhambra host their picnic in the park for special needs. The DJ helped make it a dance party after riding all the rides and eating hot dogs.

9-23-2018 It was a great morning at the New Orleans Lakefront Airport with Second Harvest Food Bank. LWL helped load 2 airplanes full of freshly prepared meals headed to N. and S. Carolina in the wake of Hurricane Florence.
9-8-18 LWL helped host a 'Who Let The Dogs Out' dance along with The Order of Alhambra for a group of developmentally disabled. It was a fun evening with some Saints Super Fans!!

May 27, 2018 Lagniappe With Love visited St. Anthony's Assisted Living to donate personal items to residents.
April 22, 2018 Lagniappe With Love sponsored a night of Wildkat Wrestling for the clients of Magnolia Community Services. It was a fun filled afternoon of six matches for these individuals at Magnolia Community Services. The clients enjoyed the excitement of being ring side at the wrestling event and also having an opportunity for autographs and photos with wrestlers. Each client will received a commemorative t-shirt.
April 21, 2018 Colby's Cocktails 4th Annual Service Road Crawfish Cookoff
Lagniappe With Love participated in the crawfish cookoff to help raise money for Gerald Smith who is living life to the fullest despite his cancer diagnosis. The raffle will be held at Colby's during this event. Lagniappe With Love will donated $1100 to Gerald Smith to help with medical expenses. The raffle tickets started off as a general fundraiser for Lagniappe With Love for general yearly expenses. We want to help ease some of the financial burden on Gerald Smith.
Christmas Eve 2017 we provided a fully cooked meal for a family who is going through tough times. We also visited St Anthony's Assisted Living to distribute stuffed stockings to the residents.
Christmas time 2017- LWL visited St. Anthony's assisted living to bring stockings stuffed with goodies for the residents.
Thanksgiving 2017 was very successful with us donating fully prepared Thanksgiving meals for 6 families. All of the families were greatly appreciative of the meals. It was truly an honor to provide for these wonderful people.
September 2017- Provided thousands of meals for people affected by Hurricane Harvey.
November 2016- We brought a fully prepared Thanksgiving Dinner to 5 families in need.
September 2016 - 4 members went to Walker Animal Shelter with supplies and volunteered for the day. This shelter was affected by the flooding.
September 2016- Fed thousands of people affected by the floods in the Denham Springs area.
March 2016- Fed thousands of people affected by the floods in the Denham Springs area.
